閱讀紀大偉與林新惠的作品，置於當前關於人工智慧、監控、性／別與親密關係治理的討論之中，並放回台灣同時作為科技生產基地與文化生產場域的雙重位置。這些作品的力量不在於預言，而在於對當下處境的仔細觀察。那些處境唯有事後回望時，才顯得像是未來。因此，與其說它們預測未來，不如說它們重新組織了現在：在這些酷兒推想之中，科技並未消滅親密關係，而是重構了它，使親密關係得以在分散的、非生殖性的關係形式中重新浮現。
Reading Chi Ta-wei and Lin Hsin-Hui alongside current debates on AI, surveillance, gender and sexuality, and the governance of intimacy, the talk situates these works in Taiwan's double position as a site of technological production and of cultural production. Their force, I argue, lies not in prophecy but in close observation of present conditions — conditions that only look futuristic in hindsight. What these fictions offer, then, is less a forecast than a reorganization of the present: in their queer speculations, intimacy is not abolished by technology but restructured by it, re-emerging in distributed, non-reproductive forms of relation.
